Celebrate Burns Night in Glasgow

By CGordon 22 Jan 2019

The time has come again to unite for a night of Ceilidhs, superb suppers and spectacular Scottish shows all in the name of the late, great poet, Robert Burns.

Burns Night is officially on the 25th January and Glasgow is ready and waiting with a whole host of events!

Here's a pick of some of our favourite sounding jigs and gigs spanning Burns Night and the weekend that are simply too good to miss.....

And if you're vegan there are plenty of alternative Burns Supper events so that you don't miss out on your haggis, neeps and tatties!

The Gilchrist, on our very own University campus, is hosting a night to celebrate Robert Burns on Friday 25th January. The night will include entertainment, bagpipes and of course food and whisky. Vegetarian and vegan options are available if requested in advanced! This is one of the cheapest Burns Night celebrations we've found so far, so if you're on a budget then this one is for you!
