Come along to Cairncross Reception on Friday 17th March between 10am and 4pm to help us celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
Will you find the Pot of Gold or will you just enjoy the free hot drinks and biscuits with friends? Either way come along and join us and see if you will have the luck of the Irish!
Donate an Easter Egg
Help make a child a happy little bunny this year and donate an Easter egg!
We are currently collecting donations of Easter eggs from residents and staff to be able to donate to the local Woman’s Aid. Such a small gesture will make the world of a difference to a child this Easter, so why not pick one up the next time you are getting your shopping and hand it into Cairncross reception on your way back? You can buy one for yourself the next time!
Art Afternoons are back at Cairncross House next Thursday. As always, the workshops are free and you can drop in any time over the two hour session. We'll have snacks and hot drinks, and music too!
The shoebox appeal is run by Mari and Henrietta as they are putting together shoeboxes filled with arts and crafts materials and art ideas for children. In the event itself, they will have a few stalls where the kids and families can try out different techniques, mostly puppetry-themed. Get in touch if you would like to help us out in any way!
Your LSA team have organised a tennis taster for the residents of KHR on Wednesday 22 March from 7pm until 9pm (with a meeting set for 6:45pm outside Cairncross to lead everyone to the courts).
The session will be completely free however, there is a limit of 30 spaces due to the amount of people we are allowed per court (health and safety regulations). They will provide equipment and refreshments and the session will be led by qualified tennis coaches, Radi (LSA) and one of the university tennis club coaches.
