Movie Nights at KHR

For the next three weeks the Movie Nights we'll be exploring the magic land of Narnia alongside the Pevensie siblings and Aslan.

  • Thursday 26th April: we'll discover Narnia and its magic with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,
  • Thursday 3rd May: we'll join the Pevensie siblings in their adventures alongside Prince Caspian,
  • Thursday 10th May: we'll say goodbye to Narnia and this year's movie nights with The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

This Thursday for our weekly movie night we are showing...

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Realizing the stakes are no longer just for survival, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) teams up with During the World War II bombings of London, four English siblings are sent to a country house where they will be safe. One day Lucy (Georgie Henley) finds a wardrobe that transports her to a magical world called Narnia. After coming back, she soon returns to Narnia with her brothers, Peter (William Moseley) and Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and her sister, Susan (Anna Popplewell). There they join the magical lion, Aslan (Liam Neeson), in the fight against the evil White Witch, Jadis (Tilda Swinton).

We show all of our movies at the Sandyford Church (13 Kelvinhaugh Street, G3 8NU) at 7:30pm on Thursdays.

There are always plenty of free drinks and snacks, but feel free to bring your own too.

Movie nights are run by your Living Support Assistants, so please let them know if you have any movie suggestions.
