You should all have a departure envelope in your flat. If for some reason you don’t have one, please come to reception and collect one. On your departure, all you need to do is put your name and flat details on the front, pop your keys in it, bring it to reception and we’ll get you checked out. If you are departing out of hours then you can leave the envelope with security by popping it through the letterbox in the security office door and we’ll process your check out the next morning.
Leaving Your Flat
When you are moving out, please make sure that any rubbish or recycling is removed from the flat and put in the appropriate bins. All areas of the flat must be cleared of all personal items and must be left in a tidy and clean state so please make sure that you follow the housekeeping guidelines provided.
Please make sure that you have something in place to forward any mail or parcels you are likely to receive after you have gone, as we won’t take any mail in at reception. Anything delivered to your flat after Friday will be returned to the Post office marked Return To Sender. The Post Office offers a forwarding service, so you can look online or contact one of their branches for further details about this.
Against Breast Cancer
Remember you can now deposit your used, new or surplus bras into our new ‘Bra Bank’ that will be getting delivered this week. By doing this you will be helping to raise vital funds for research into secondary spread breast cancer. You will also be helping small businesses across the African continent to sell them at affordable prices.
If you require a Landlord reference for accommodation please contact Accommodation Services on 0141 330 4743 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as we are unable to provide this service at Reception.
On your departure, if you have any items of clothing or anything else you won’t be taking away with you or no longer need - we have a box from the British Heart Foundation that you can donate to. It’s sitting in the lounge. Just take some of the bags from the front of the box, fill them up and pop them back in the box. Thank you in advance.
If you have any un-opened, un-perishable food items that you won’t be taking away with you or no longer need we are collecting for a local food bank so any items donated to us would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
