Bellydance beginners class@Dance Factory – 3rd May

Fast & Furious Live@SEC – 11th to 13th May
Who knew the movie franchise Fast & Furious could be a stage show? Coming to the SEC between 11th – 13th May this live show features it all, cars, explosions and more. Tickets start at £37.50 and are available from here.
Murray Mayhem@Grosvenor – all May
Join the Grosvenor Cinema in their month of movies all featuring beloved Bill Murray. Best of all, it’s a fiver per movie! From Ghostbusters to Lost in Translation it’s got it all, tickets via their Facebook events page.
Pint of Science festival – 12th to 16th May
Pint of Science aims to bring some of the most brilliant scientist and inspiring research from Scotland to your local pub. No need to have any prior knowledge, just come and meet the people responsible for the future of science (and have a pint with them). Various pubs across Glasgow are hosting so do have a look at the event website for the topics and tickets.
Glasgow Coffee Festival@the Briggait – 19th to 20th May
Dear Green are bringing back the Glasgow Coffee Festival to showcase Scotland's speciality coffee culture in a two day event. Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th May 2018 at The Briggait. Prepare your palate for a sensory journey of flavours, aromas, masterclasses, presentations, film, art and competitions all of a caffeinated nature! Scottish Street food festival@Riverside Museum – 18th to 20th May
The Scottish Street Food Festival is back for it's second year to bring people together through food and to celebrate Scotland's vibrant and ever growing Street food culture in a fun festival setting right at the Riverside Museum.
This annual event where food trucks, restaurants, food vendors, suppliers & producers can coexist and showcase what they have to offer Scotland in a relaxed, happy and friendly environment. Tickets are on sale now.
Mayfesto@Tron Theatre – 3rd May to 30th May
Mayfesto is the Tron’s mini-festival of edgy and provocative new work – now very firmly fixed in their annual calendar. This year, the festival will present new drama exploring the brutal complexities of family life – situations where not everything is black and white. Thoughtful and provocative, this festival has some great shows lined up! Programme and further info can be found here.
